Weather Gods Fighting?

Walking home yesterday, listening to Cara Dillon, it started to snow. Lovely big flakes coming down from the dark sky. Then I heard some rumbling noise, and realised it was thunder. Utterly surreal! There was no lightning and the snow had stopped by the time I got home, but this has to be the freakiest 10 minutes of weather I have yet to experience in Ireland.....
